Tour Description
This four-hour tour will trace the history of Okinawa during the Ryukyu Kingdom using sites that Commodore Perry and his men visited during their five visits to the island between 1853 and 1854. After starting in Naha near where Commodore Perry first stepped on Okinawa Island, we will travel to points where both Perry and his men visited, including Shuri Castle, Banner Rock and Nakagusuku Castle. Cost: 8,000 Yen per Person This fee covers: Pick up and drop off at the Lawson Naha Makabi Transportation and all transportation related fees Your guided tour Additional Costs: 300 Yen/Person for Nakagusuku Castle Additional money for any souvenirs or purchases Activity Level: This tour includes moderate physical activity. We will walk up stairs and on uneven walking surfaces. Some stops will include slightly longer distances at a leisurely pace (less than half a mile) or extended periods of standing (up to an hour).
